Bread making has been a weekly event these past two years. It started with a gift of sourdough starter and a one time showing of what the process looked like. Now ? Ive tried a myriad of different flours, things that are added in. Sweet breads, savory breads, gluten free breads. Ive thought about how to use the leftovers : crumbs dried for use later in lovely knudeli, crackers from thin slices, Ive made some mistakes, had some spectacular failures. Each bread has been a learning experience. Like a little starter used in the next weeks experience.
