Making Christmas cookies is a family tradition. Even Pop got into the act making his classic Grandmother's Arkansas Sugar Cookies. I’ve gotten started this year,2020 with this new version of the family black and whites. These are a plain sugar cookie recipe with little sausages of poppyseeds and raisins ground together and rolled in. Lockdown has allowed me to take the time it takes. I stand at my window, looking out at my little maple tree,leaves turning a brilliant yellow. 1 roll these out,2 to 3 at a time, quietly.
